Alpha SWING AI

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

Draft notice: this policy is a starter draft describing what Alpha actually collects and does today. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and should not be treated as legally sufficient for a public launch. Have qualified counsel review and finalize it before Alpha is made publicly available.

1. Information we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive and store your name, email address, and profile avatar URL from your Google account via Neon's managed authentication service. We do not receive your Google password.

When you scan a chart, the Alpha browser extension captures a screenshot of your active browser tab and sends it to our backend for analysis. That screenshot is forwarded to Google's Gemini API to generate a technical analysis response. Screenshots are not retained beyond what is needed to service the request and populate your scan history; the resulting scan record (asset, timeframe, verdict, and trade setup — not the raw image) is stored against your account.

2. How we use your information

We use your account and usage data to authenticate you, enforce daily scan quotas, show your scan history, and operate and improve Alpha. We do not use your chart screenshots or scan history to train third-party models beyond what Google's Gemini API terms govern for API-submitted content.

3. Where your data is stored

Account records, subscription/plan status, daily usage counters, and scan history are stored in our Neon Serverless PostgreSQL database. Authentication itself is handled by Neon's managed Better Auth service.

4. Cookies & local storage

The Alpha website and extension use browser local storage (and, briefly during sign-in, a session cookie set by Neon's authentication flow) to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your chart screenshots are shared with Google's Gemini API solely to generate your analysis. We may disclose information if required by law.

6. Your rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see below). We will remove your account records, usage history, and scan history from our database, subject to any retention required by law.

7. Not financial advice

Alpha provides technical analysis for informational purposes only and is not financial advice. Trading involves risk, and you are solely responsible for your own trading decisions.

8. Contact
